Hey! No problem at all. If I remember correctly there are different ways to get the “Zero” ending in Yanagi’s route. Those purple distortions are an indicator that the choice you selected counts towards that ending.
My memory is a bit fuzzy because it’s been ages since I played it, but I think you don’t need to get all of those to get to the Zero ending, as long as you make the right choices where it matters (I don’t think I saw any distortions when I did my first playthrough).

I am having an issue with this part are I clicked on What are you trying to protect? the A Roman numeral and coin doesn’t show up it goes to the view cases and I have finished all the other routes am i doing something wrong still? I don’t understand it?
I’m really sorry, but I’m not sure what could be going wrong for you. Have you completed all other routes fully (all endings)? It’s been years since I played CxM so I don’t remember the full details behind the routes anymore 🙈
My brother helped me find the issue I didn’t know i have to Start New Game and then select Aiji Yanagi. I appreciate the response though!

That’s actually very possible. The Collar x Malice guides were some of the first walkthroughs I wrote, when I hadn’t quite settled yet on a pattern of how to structure and organise them, so it’s plausible that I have some duplication between Aiji’s common route part and the Common Route walkthrough (hopefully not beyond the one bad ending). I am planning to revisit some of the older walkthroughs to make them more consistent with my more recent ones, but as that involves replaying (parts of) those games, I’m not sure when I’ll get around to doing that.
