Here you can find links to all of the walkthroughs for 9 R.I.P. (official website | Nintendo Switch product page).
The game has a total of 39 endings to acquire:
🪦 1 ending for School Ghost Stories (found in Kureha’s walkthrough)
🪦 5 endings for Kureha
🪦 5 endings for Hibiki
🪦 1 ending for Urban Legends (found in Koyo’s walkthrough)
🪦 5 endings for Koyo
🪦 4 endings for Sena
🪦 1 ending for the Other Realm (found in Seiya’s walkthrough)
🪦 4 endings for Minami
🪦 5 endings for Seiya
🪦 3 endings for Yukimaro
🪦 3 endings for Koharu
🪦 2 endings for the secret route
My soft recommended play order:
School Ghost Stories > Urban Legends > Other Realm > Spirit World > secret
The game’s common route splits into four storylines, each featuring two (or three including the secret route) characters:
- School Ghost Stories
- Urban Legends
- Other Realm
- Spirit World
Aside from the secret route, all of the love interests are available from the start of the game. There isn’t a true recommended order to play the game in, but I found following the above order in terms of storylines made the game flow quite nicely.
In general, only the Heavenly and Godly endings contain CGs for each character. Minami’s route is the exception, as it includes a CG in one of his bad endings. So if you tend to skip bad endings, keep this in mind if you want to complete the CG list.

Is there any feature in the game that lets you see which endings you’ve already unlocked? It doesn’t need to show the ones I haven’t gotten yet—question marks or something like that would be fine. I just want a way to track my progress so I can roughly estimate how far I am without having to use a guide.
I prefer playing without guides, but I would still like to know which endings I’ve already completed. Right now, I can only really tell the two “good” endings from the memories, but I don’t have any overview of the bad or alternate endings I might have gotten or want to have.
Unfortunately, I don’t remember there being any feature like that in 9 R.I.P., which I agree is a pain when you prefer to play blind!
