The game has a total of 27 endings to acquire:
🥀 2 common bad endings (found in Mathis’ route)
🥀 3 endings for Mathis Claude
🥀 6 endings for Lucas Proust
🥀 4 endings for Scien Brofiise
🥀 6 endings for Yves
🥀 6 endings in Le Salut
My recommended play order is as follows:
Mathis > Lucas > Scien > Yves > Le Salut
At the start of the game, only Lucas, Mathis and Scien’s routes are available. There is a recommended order to play their routes in, which allows you to follow the least spoiler-ish path, but nothing is really stopping you from playing them in your desired order. Once you’ve cleared an ending for each of them, Yves’ route unlocks. Clearing Yves’ route opens up the third act: Le Salut.
Virche is quite unique as it forces you to play through the bad endings, called Despair Ends, first. And be warned, they are named that for a reason, and if you are the type of otoge player who skips bad ends, you may want to reconsider picking up this game. You cannot reach the good endings for any character, or Salvation Ends, without completing Le Salut.
One last note: you don’t really need to worry about the Flowchart or Scene List to reach all of the game’s endings. But if you’re a bit of a completionist, you will need to read every scenario to complete the Scene List. This means going through the flowchart, finding the sections with a choice and reading them while selecting the options you didn’t previously choose. Keep doing this until you run out of unread parts.
