Xiao is the reason that I started playing Genshin, and he wasn't even in the game for the first few months 🥲 since then, I've fallen in love with the world and story, and many of the characters, but Xiao will always be special 💚

he's the first character I whaled for 🐋 (no shame, I'd do it again) and he's the first ever character that made me want to get a tattoo inspired by him. a sort of protective charm, to have my guardian yaksha look over me 🎐🤍

every Lantern Rite I look forward to more of his character development 🏮 and when the Chasm story chapters hit, I fell even more in love (how is he so cool??) 💘

he's a classic example of a character who has closed himself off from the world and others, someone who thinks it's better to stay alone. when really, he doesn't want anyone (including himself) to get hurt, but I just want to squeeze him and tell him it'll be alright 🥺🌿

(and yes, I used a pudding emoji because it's the closest thing to almond tofu 😂)
